Short Brief

Every week, prosper gets a blood transfusion to stay alive.

Prosper is six years old. In January 2019, he was diagnosed at lagos state university teaching hospital (LASUTH) with SEVERE APLASTIC ANEAMIA.

The condition makes Prosper to bleed from his mouth, nose, eyes and anus, and to urinate blood. The continuous bleeding has affected one of his eyes and he also has difficulty breathing.

Since January 2019, Prosper has been transfused with over 140 pints of platelets concentrates and 70 pints of packed cells and whole blood. Infact, as it is now, my son undergoes blood and blood products transfusion on weekly basis. He now depends on blood transfusion to live.

The doctors have said that the only remedy is a bone marrow stem cells transplant. This transplant is not done in Nigeria so we have contacted a hospital in India.

Prosper needs about N25,000,000 to carry out this transplant. This includes the costs of the transplant, harvesting stem cells from donors, travel expenses, accommodation and feeding for about 3 – 5 months for the family member that will stay with him.

My family is financially exhausted and we need your help. Please help us save prosper’s life. We need you.
